biography

Gabriella Raitano, or for short Ella, is a young artist with a passion for dance and using a camera.

From the age of 4 years old she has been dancing and training to eventually to attend San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts as a Musical Theatre major with a focus in choreography and directing. After graduating in 2020, attended University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and obtained her Dance BFA in 2024 and is now studying for her MFA in Theatre with a concentration in Lighting and Scenic Design.

Her love for cameras didn't come till she was a little older. She would use her father's Canon 5D Mark ii until her bought her her own. Eventually she learned the ropes of instinct and the rest was a learning curve. She also taught herself how to use editing software such as Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, etc. Her mother's studio, Center Stage School of Dance, was a huge part in boosting her love for creating dance films and music video style films and gave her all of the hands on learning and positive experiences she needed to stike her new found passion.
